Since December 2018, he is employed at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and geology as an assistant at the Department of Mining Mechanization in the field of "Mechanization in Mining and Energy". He was re-elected as an assistant in 2021, and he was appointed as an assistant professor in 2023. He is the author or co-author of 36 scientific papers, out of which 8 papers were published in SCI-listed journals. He is a co-author of the book "Machines and Auxiliary Works in Surface Mining" intended for fourth-year students of the Faculty of Mining and Geology. He holds a National License (Professional for performing professional tasks in the field of mineral resource exploitation, as prescribed by the Mining Law of Serbia for mining engineers. He is a member of the organization SOMP (Society of Mining Professors) and the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia. He has participated in the development of several projects, reports, and studies in the field of mining, as well as technical inspections of mining equipment.
